He's objectively correct, any Multiplayer PvP Game has become basically unplayable because compfags go into casual playlists to the detriment of everyone else trying to play in their lobby

everybody wants to win regardless of what they say. A casual lobby doesn't mean people don't want to win, it just means people want to win effortlessly and get pissed when the coin land on the other side. This is the same fucking debate with the cod niggers hating on SBMM because they "don't want to sweat", meaning they want to stomp whoever is against them. You either stomp people less skilled than you or sweat against an equal opponent, but competitive players at least are honest about wanting to win.

Modern multiplayer games are a genuine cancer. The only multiplayer games I tolerate nowadays are Battlefield 1, Helldivers 2, and TF2. Everything else falls into the meta faggotry.

to boost engagement farming

theres a difference between something like halo 2's mmr which was designed to prevent really good players from bodying trash or new players but still giving you chill matches vs having 1:1 mirror matches that have essentially conditioned everyone in the last 15 years to play like their life depends on it.

I generally don't care about comp games having comp players but the thing that really gets me is games that are clearly designed to be extremely casual, yet these subhumans feel the need to optimize the shit out of them. However this is likely the fault of maybe around 15 years of players creating macro observations and applying those to everything. Most games use hidden mmr even in unrated and casual matchmaking. It serves no purpose but to rob you of fun because for some reason a bunch of retards in the gaymes industry got together and decided random skill levels down the list of a match is less enjoyable than facing constant premades becuase you did slightly above average in the last game that was full of shitters struggling to fuck a football because they were all statistically the same level of clueless.

Killing all the "fucking around" pvp spaces was really the beginning of the end. Even shit like Halo 3 had custom games that were incredibly unique and could be fun for hours. they purposefully rig the mmr so that if it wants you to lose it puts really, really retarded players on your team.
