Honestly? Kinda based. Shows that tools don’t matter nearly as much as vision and execution. If someone can make something emotionally impactful or mechanically engaging with RPG Maker, that says more about their creativity than someone throwing millions into a bland AAA title. It’s like seeing someone build a PC out of cardboard and duct tape and still run Elden Ring-mad respect.

I fed the rrat to the wall and later learned you could give your arm but the game didn't even give me the option. Did I have to leave the room or something ? I mirror dialog said something like that. Guess that'll be for a second playthrough if I ever do that again, unless there's a NG+ (doubt it).

Problem with RPGM games are always assets. You could make a GOTY in every respect but if it uses stock assets ain't no one gonna notice you. Sadly most one-man teams are not artists.
