>gyro aiming accurately simulates having to hold your aim steady to hit your target
>not a single realistic shooter supports it
I'm mad. Ever since I played the SCUD hunt mission in Blops6 with gyro and had to hold my hands still to snipe I've wanted to get that feeling from an actual tactical shooter but every single one of them are made for mkb.

wait til you discover vr...
you'll never want to play fps on a flat screen with controller or mkb ever again

I just don't have a powerful enough rig for proper VR atm. I'm in the process of building one though.

vr's potential for fps games is still really unexplored
imagine a proper COD or battlefield game designed ground up for vr play

hl alyx is STILL the best vr fps 10 years later

eeeeh, don't build one specifically for vr right now
wait for HL3 to be announced and target your specs to that or something

Isn't motion sickness a major problem of VR? Not sure how a fast paced FPS would work with that.

Xbox is solely responsible for holding everyone else back. Precisely because the dudebros who play those kinds of fps games think that moving around your controller will make you gay.

That's true, but then again, tactical shooters are never on console anyway. They're just wedded to complex keyboard control schemes and therefore the idea of playing them with a controller - even with gyro - never seems to occur to any of the devs.

Some people have none, and even those that do have it lose it after a while.

On pc you can sort of add gyro aiming to any game, but it can be a bit funky if they don't properly support it

So are there any shooters where gyro is actually good? It seems like any that support it make it irrelevant by taking away your aim assist.

you can just use Steam Input for gyro aiming
