Is it just the master chief collection being made by unreal 5 Indians or was halo 1 always this shit? Why does the movement feel like shit? Why are the vehicle levels worse than hl2s airboat parts? Any difficulty under legendary is boring piss easy and legendary takes two magazines of magnum rounds to the head for elites.

No wonder xbox sold barely more than the gamecube, it's shit with barely any games.

The Halo 1 remaster is well known for being a piece of shit. Forgot if it was the case for Elites but one of the bigger problems is that the HD graphics models don't actually align with the hitboxes. There's a button to instantly toggle between HD and classic graphics and I'd recommend picking a couple of levels and just going through them while constantly toggling between the two to see how fucking bad the HD changes are.

You're doing it wrong.

The Halo 1 Remake used the shit Gearbox port for its base iteration. It had tons of texture bugs and used outdated models.
Halo 2 anniversary had some bugs, such as removing the sword flying (it's a feature) and one line of code that didn't allow elite AI to dual wield plasma rifles.
Both were fixed.

you don't know how to play the games.
elites have shields just like you and will hide behind cover to make it regenerate. You need to take the shield down with something like a plasma shot and then you can headshot them easily.
legendary in all halo games is easy if you know how to play, even halo 2.
