you know what I love about switch 2?
>no need to pay for a subscription to play online;
>consumer friendly, you can easily install games from a different store and emulate other consoles without having to pay for 20yo roms;
>the games are cheap and constantly get discounts up to 90%;
>the nintendo workshop lets you make and share your own mods in a really easy way, and you can mod your games as much as you want; you can even mod games to remove censorship, because Nintendo cares about its adult fans;
>it's a definitive upgrade of the switch: Nintendo saw how much better the oled screen was on the switch one and kept it for the switch two instead of going back to a shitty lcd. This way fans won't have to buy a new console in a couple of years just to get a decent screen;
>Nintendo actively encourages fan projects and games instead of shutting them down
>nintendo keeps investing in original new games instead of milking the same 30yo series again and again and sell as new games what are basically dlcs or graphical updates.

Nintendo is simply the future of gaming.

>buy Half Life in 1998
>can play it on brand new Steam Deck purchased in 2020s

>buy Ocarina of Time in 1998
>hasn't worked on a new console since the Gamecube
>Nintendo 64 and controllers start to die after many years
>now you're stuck with a worthless physical copy unless you spend hundreds of dollars on a 25+ year old console.

Not only that, but you can natively play OoT on the Deck, meanwhile you have to shell out for a shitty emulation service on the Shitch LMAO

Apparently not when tendies, after pretending to be friends with PC bros, went mask off when the Steam Deck was released.

the fact is Valve have beaten Nintendo to the punch and created a better product, tendies are not taking this well

it reminds me of the N64 vs PS1 days lol

>who won
Both.
>Valve won by resurrecting the UMPC market and lighting a fire under Microsoft's ass with SteamOS
>Nintendo won by continuously shitting on Xbox and Snoy with a consistently strong lineup of IPs and making a machine that isn't a net loss to sell

in a perfect world, no one would buy the Switch 2 and Nintendo would go third party or sell of their IPs

Not even defending the Deck here but why would you buy a Switch 2 at this point? There's no games.
