I borrow games at my local library for free. I don't own anything but I'm happy.

>borrow a bunch of games
>put them in computers disc drive
>copy all their contents onto your pc
>return the games
>play all the games you copied
Why wouldn't this work?

It would, but you would need to use Alcohol 120% for copy-protected games, and in extreme instances (namely, TAGES) Daemon Tools. That, or find no-CD cracks. All of this besides the fact that physical PC games died when Steamworks became popular for non-Valve games.

This used to work before developers caught on and implemented piracy protection into all their shit.

Wish my library system had games, they have DVDs still but for some reason they always drew the line on games.
Probably would've stuck with console gaming rather than start on PC though, so it's not a total loss.

I kinda think owning games is pointless and it was much better when you could just go into a shop and rent them. Like most single player games you can finish in a weekend so it would be much better to just rent games like that but we cant do that anymore.

It's time consuming but it isn't hard to do.
You need some software to do it too.
If your paranoid you can also buy an empty game case of the game you copied so if the good goyim (police) somehow find out and come to your door (they won't and they never will nobody gives a fuck) you can say you owned the video game before an made digital copies of it but lost the physical disc.
Which is completely legal to do btw - you can make digital versions of any physical game you've ever purchased - even current gen ones - so long as you keep your copy on your own personal computer and you don't distribute it anywhere.
