How do I enjoy video games again? My brain has rotted and I'm so used to having a stream or a video on one monitor and just aimlessly clicking through 4chan on the other that I just don't have the desire to launch a video game even though there's several I want to play.

the thing i have found in my life is that the physical wellbeing of my body has way more impact on my mental state than silly little things like using the internet too much
exercise, eat better, lose/gain towards a more normal weight and video games will feel more fun

Idk. Your generation is fucked in the head. Hard to undo that. My generation just tries another hobby because we’re smart enough to realize that it gets boring doing the same hobby over & over for years non-stop. We also understand that it’s normal to try new things because sticking with only one hobby gets boring after a while

unironically part of me feels like I just ticked a certain age box and stopped caring about vidya and it sucks
I have like a terabyte of games installed I want to play through but actually launching and playing feels like a hassle
