I liked it, at least the linear parts. I don't know why they bothered adding some sort of non-linearity to it. That's always the most lackluster aspect of these sorts of 2D action games, I don't know why that dumb shit got turned into an entire genre.

No, that's Yaksha from Ninja Warriors Again lmao. Shadow is an action platformer by the same devs though, supposed to be a remake of a NES game, but it's so different, it might as well be two different games, they're both real solid Ninja action games.

I see. I know I had seen someone mention Shadow of the Ninja in a thread that she was posted in, so learning they're from the same developer makes sense. I'll put them both on my list, maybe I'll take a break from Viewtiful Joe to play one of them since I'm currently on the most ass-cancer level of VJ thus far.

Anyways, it doesn't look good, colour selection is OK, animation is boring, and the sprites are ewww, especially the outline feels off. It's true that this is trendy and modern, but I despise this artstyle that's devoid of (actual) art direction. Looks like a mobile game. Maybe they want to release it on mobile as well?
