Galaxy is a fucking cancer.
It's a pity that they pretty much have no competition in the DRM-free market.
Especially concerning AAA games, even if they're old.

All of the old games you get from gog work better than if you bought them on steam.

You download a game.
You own the game.
Sometimes you get free games or discounted games.
But you can do what you like with it. Not only that they provide versions of games that are usually untampered with unlike steam E.G Redneck Rampage.

I'm not paying for your port of a 20 year old game with a fan patch pre-installed, Marcin

A lot of modern devs absolutely refuse to put their games on the platform, so it's mostly for old games and a few genres that are by and for long-time PC gamers.
It's alright beyond that.

They're the second best games retailer after Steam, but it's a pretty wide margin.
I made an account to get the free games back when they were passing out Dungeon Keeper and didn't actually buy anything from them until about a month ago.

GOG is my go to. It's the best if you aren't a fucking idiot. DRM-Free games, and they pretty much preserve old titles/games.
