This. I've been playing SCUM recently and the official servers for that game are Chinese infested cheating hellhole.
The game doesn't have any protection as far I understand.
You HAVE to play on unofficial server with active admin/mods that keep it clean, and thankfully there are plenty of those.

Gaming becoming too mainstream. YouTube grifters trying to make money off of everyone else ruined gaming. Censoring and getting banned for wrongthink. Nobody wants to speak in text/voice chat anymore because of these reasons.

Easy Anti-cheat... for whom?

Every single online PC game has cheaters, EAC literally does nothing. Battlefield, COD, battle royale games, you name it, every single lobby has at least one guy using wallhacks because it's basically undetectable as long as they're not tracking players though walls, pre-aiming and prefiring every single engagement.

Most cheaters hide their cheats well (ESP/walls, radar) and very few cheaters rage hack with aimbot.

Kernel level anti-cheats will be the downfall of your very anonymity. They will be used as proof that the majority of the internet is okay with digital ID mandates.

Yup just DMA (Direct Memory Access) PCI-e cards that read out game memory and process it on a seperate laptop then feed back info. They use some vuln official driver which has a legit signature so they never get caught.

EAC only detects free cheats which is admittedly how most cheaters get caught, but a lot of people use paid cheats and the vast majority of those are undetectable and if they do get detected, they get updated almost instantly.

Coronel-based anticheat are a privacy violation and a threat to the pc, proven with the recent shitstorm caused by Activion's old COD anticheat garbage. These programs that mess with the caramel shouldn't be allowed on any videogame.

No fuck you. Microsoft closing systems they're trying already with TPM chips being mandatory. It won't solve cheating because as long as you have access to the device you will never be able to stop it. You're giving up control of your device for obscurity and thinking there's no cheaters. They'll just push through other bullshit like even more restrictive DRM, not being able to install Linux at all maybe in the future. https://www.techpowerup.com/319797/hdmi-forum-rejects-amds-hdmi-2-1-open-source-driver-proposal-no-4k-120-hz-or-5k-240-hz-on-linux Cable makers already try to preven you, if it becomes a closed system that'll be death of computers in general.

battleye and PUBG best

no, not almost everyone is cheating in that game. it has the least amount of cheaters. a lot of people think pwople are cheating because replays and deathcams have been broken since day 1 and don't show recoil. some of them know this and will continue to double down while refusing to get better or change their style of play to live longer
>simply to live longer
these same people can't grasp the importance of this concept in PUBG, so these players are also low IQ

I wasn't really against this anti-cheat until I played a game not too long ago that required it. This thing actually messed up my boot up and shut down times on my PC. Immediately after I uninstalled the game and made sure there were no more traces left of Easy Anti-Cheat both my boot up and shut down times went back to normal.

So yeah, I'm staying away from this shit from now on. I do hope they find a better way to get rid of all the pathetic cheaters though, but I don't like it if things like this affects the performance of my PC.
