The Switch 2's launch isn't anything that special, but getting DK so soon after the console's release isn't anything to sneeze at. It took MONTHS for the Wii U to get fucking anything of value after launched, and even then it was nothing to justify the console's existence.

Its a shame because I really think it reinforced Nintendo when it came to making games for "everyone" rather than their core audience and putting marketing and name power above all else. You seem to have forgotten what the conversation is about. Not a surprise. This isn't about what you deem as easier. The original point is that the Switch 2 isn't doing anything novel or interesting. I don't care what's easier. I don't have any trouble getting a mouse to work. What is "easier" than that is an extremely diminished return to the point that it isn't interesting in the slightest. To that end, it functionally does not achieve anything that a mouse cannot. You have failed to refute this, likely because you are aware you cannot. I want to believe you have better things to do than fight an unwinnable battle, but you're here so you probably don't.

Nippon Ichi Software games are generally nice if you want to try something new, even if the execution can sometimes fail (htol#NiQ was rough on the edges to my memories). There is also a bunch of titles that will never come out of Japan like the horror detective (Shin) Hayarigami or the countryside tourism simulator Fuuraiki.

That's fine, I got the Switch 2 because I knew it would improve drastically a bunch of Switch 1 games I own alongside of a couple of launch titles, like Yakuza Zero, Kunitsu-Gami, Rune Factory, Fast Fusion, etc. with shit like Elden Ring coming out later. Its biggest flaw is the battery life, and for most users it's better to wait one year or two until the Switch 2 library gets bigger.
