What went wrong?

maybe just me, but it doesn't seem as interesting as cruelty squad.
the levels feel a bit bland and it doesn't pull you in, when I played cruelty squad I instantly knew it was a masterpiece, with this one i dunno.
maybe if the levels were smaller but with more shit in them it'd be a better game, something like VTM bloodlines

He released it before its finished. I played it on release for a few hours and I know its good, but I don't want to play 70% of a role playing game then stop and wait for a year to finish the last 30%. Especially not a game where knowing each character and the different quest lines is important to progression.

You can feel the love and soul from the moment you start Cruelty Squad and whether you dig it or not is up to you, but I just don't feel a thing when I open this game and try to put any time into it.

This pretty much sums up my thoughts pretty well, I'm sure it'll be fine once it's fully out and patched and whatever, but I know it's only a few hours long so I don't want to play it until it's done and I can autistically get all the endings.

Nothing, Ville is just taking too long to release new content besides bits of dialogue here and there. The game that is there is mostly solid, it's just obviously incomplete.
