This game looks ugly as sin. Cruelty Squad was ugly on purpose and even this is more vile to look at than that was.

Maybe I'm the only one who thinks this but I'm thinking maybe they thought games like Mario Kart 8 and Mario Odyssey were too generic-looking so they tried extra hard to make Mario Kart World and this game look "stylized" and it ended up making them both look fucking hideous in a way I can't even describe, it makes my eyes upset in the same way cotton candy makes my stomach upset.
