was coco a last minute adition to the nsane trilogy? just saing because I cant see why not let you use her in some levels like hog ride, except they dont having time to add more animations.

Probably less "last minute" and more just allocating the time to the resources that matter first. Even with that you can kind of tell they were stretched thin by making three games at once, Crash 2 feels pretty rough overall

It's just she's not suited to riding a hog. that's a crash thing. same reason she can't ride the motorbike in 3.

For the better. Tawna was a nothing character that put Crash on a basic bitch save the princess story just like Mario. Saving her isn't canon anyway. Crash ignoring her to go straight into defeating Cortex leads directly into Crash 2. Coco is the better character.

The issue is Tawna was never given a chance to shine and even if she was omitted they gave the absolute shittiest reason possible. They could have simply said “her and Crash date offscreen” but they stuck to the NTR angle with Pinstripe. Yeah Coco is better but having 2 of them in a supporting role would have been ideal. Imagine Tawna in the original CTR or even Nitro Kart.

Eh, fair enough, but by Crash 2 there really wasn't a need for her. I suppose she could come back in games like CTR. Crash did always have a weird cycling of what characters appear where and when.
I'd be completely okay with a timeline where Tawna was utilized more often and as a result we didn't get the shitty Crash 4 one.
