It's solid. The game leans too heavily on its weirdness but much like Project Warlock I feel the gameplay lacks something.

There's only so much you can expect from a one man show; notably, a struggling, depressed man.
Yeah the world feels "stiff" but at least it all works together, and I'm excited about the properly done gunplay (which basically no other shooter has).
This game draws more hype from me than some projects worth $500 000 000, that's more than I'd expect from a solo project.

I don't like gore. Even so, thi is the only artistically significant game that came out in 2025 in my opinion. Yes, that includes Kojima's nonsensical awardbait.

Played the demo. I adore the gunplay/mechanics, it's like Hideous Destructor or Receiver. Not a fan of the guro though, a bit too anatomical and focused on crying decapitated anime girl heads? There's no good middle ground either since turning the gore off just makes the kills unsatisfying.
It's going to sound silly but I wish there was an option to turn the blood up. I think if every surface got coated in claret with each kill like it was Brutal Doom then I could gloss over the more clinical feeling gore.

It's a Good Marathon replacement but Jesus Christ can the dev get better at doing Maps that's like my only complaint I know they're a Massive step up from 1 but he REALLY needs a better vision when he makes maps like try to learn from Old school Bungie in some way because some maps really need more to them.
