What makes destruction physics so satisfying?
it is the catharsis of experiencing something terrifying without having to live with the consequences.
on the flip side, this is why most car brands that sign on for brand deals with racing games demand there be no damage model for their fancy cars; they do not want the audience of potential buyers to viscerally see the very real possibility that comes with buying an overpriced car.
