>Video game gives you a quiz that's literally impossible to solve
>>715135179 (OP)luckily i saved right before this so i could reload each time i got it wrong. yes i reloaded 3 times
>>715135269You didn't even have to reload, Kojima knew it was such bullshit he made it so you just "wake up" again and they give you the quiz again
I've been told that people did in fact have a lot of trouble with the skyrim dragon claw doors. To this day I still don't know if that's just some internet joke or if they are serious
>>715135269you're given unlimited tries until you select the correct answer
>>715135373it's the only puzzle that requires you to look at the item in your inventory. It's not surprising a lot of people didn't think to do that.
>>715135269No need for that you dumbdumb lmao
>>715135179 (OP)Didn't Silent Hill 3 have a Shakespeare puzzle that filtered all the readlets?
>>715135179 (OP)this is ez pussy shit just like the bridge puzzles in talos principle 2
why are puzzles even a thing when dope ass cellphones exist? just look it up idiot lmao
>>715135431>it's the only puzzle that requires you to look at the item in your inventoryI didn't even know you could spin the models around in your inventory, I just saw the symbols on the ceiling of the room.
Wait a minute, that card...
I fucking hate sliding block puzzles so fucking much
>/v/ can't do basic 3d visualization
Cant be bothered to mentally rotate the shit in my head. So I did a process of elimination, and by that I mean I worked with the first one i thought would work and it didnt work, and the others didnt intuitively make sense to me, so anyway the answer is the block on the left
>>715135378So why even include it if you can't get it wrong? Fucking bullshit time waster in my delivery simulator.

Tell me the truth, /v/. Which one are you?
>>715135361>>715135378>>715135519fuck me, seriously? goddammit im even more retarded than i thought
>>715136145how could there be nothing?
Wait so you're the retards that need to watch porn to fap?
Like you can't imagine sex and masturbate anyplace anytime?
>>715135179 (OP)Can people not rotate and combine the pieces together in their minds?
>>715136202I can visualize stuff, but I cannot actually see it except very rarely when I'm falling asleep and it basically just becomes a dream. I'm very envious of people who can close their eyes and just see whatever they imagine whenever they want.
>>715135179 (OP)It's pretty clearly the one that's highlighted.
>>715136284so if I ask you to describe Dante from Devil May Cry you couldn't think of his outfit and hairstyle?
>>715136350Yeah, but I cannot see him. Recalling isn't the same thing as seeing.
>>715135179 (OP)If the game is being an asshole with perspective hiding how they're laid out in the back and one is sticking out, the left option could work.
If it has to be a whole 3x2x2, then it's the right option.
>>715136284>I'm very envious of people who can close their eyes and just see whatever they imagine whenever they wantI'm pretty sure that's a mental illness. Visualizing doesn't mean you can just poof an apple into existence.
>>715135179 (OP)I was thinking at first that you could make a 2x2x2 cube out of the first two components, so using the upper component to complete it would be obvious, but now that I'm rotating the objects around, I don't think it's the solution.
Rather, the combination of the first two can leave an L-shape that the right choice can fit right in.
>>7151360092 unless i'm actively being prompted to imagine an apple. then it's a 1
>>715136724How do you recall things then, anon? Do you need to see a photo or something to "visualize" an important event?
>>715136868>>7151369521-4 imply actually seeing the object. Visualizing doesn't actually make the object appear. I can draw an apple because I visualize it, but at no point does an image of it appear in my head.
>>715137010Yes. You should be able to close your eyes and see a picture like a dream 5let
>>715136952I just think it, I was told I was great at art but it was always with a reference because I can't see shit with my eyes closed but I can recreate thing accurately just seeing it. But yeah in my head I just think it, like words, not actually see it
>>715137010>5fag trying to visualize how 1-4fags can visualize an apple in their headlol, skill issue
>Visualizing doesn't actually make the object appearYeah, it doesn't. You see it in your head, don't you have any imagination? Are you going to be mind blown knowing people can imagine events in their heads and even manipulate them?
>>715136698I think you're right, but this feels like one of those stumper type bullshit questions they throw on IQ tests to weed people out. The kind of shit that you can learn through a bunch of test prep but isn't going to be intuitive to anyone seeing it for the first time.
I definitely wouldn't use this as a 'stop the game and solve this question' type quiz unless the intention is to actually make normies feel retarded.
that's like a 115iq question
>>715136698>>715137279He was right, The answer is the option highlited on the right
>>715136698it looks like it's rotated just enough you can prove both shapes are made of four cubes
>>715137342It's not even 115. It's like a 95 IQ question. With 1 turn (turning the second piece over) you immediately know you are looking for an L block. It's literally just one turn
>>715136724cope npc
>>715136284You don't need to close eyes, just focus
You guys never daydreamed? Like get lost in thoughts visualizing some scenario of events?
>>715136698>>715137358>Was the one I initially thought it was, but it wasnt working.Must have chosen the wrong angle then. Couldnt be bothered to rotate them anymore. I tried to fit left with option right before fitting with right
>>715137476I used to be able to have vivid daydreams, but then the vax was forced on me and I became a 5.
>>715137279This is literally as simple as spacial reasoning tests get. This is the opposite of a stumper
>>715137431show it to your mom then smartass
>>715137723My moms spacial reasoning is way better than mine. She would be insulted. However admittedly she might struggle if I sent it to her right now because it's 2 am
>>715136009The test isn't just to visualize an apple, it's to rotate it, right? I'm at 1, but that's only a single object, and an apple is pretty intuitive. Keeping track of multiple geometric objects in motion while keeping their shape consistent is a lot harder. I feel like I run out of visual RAM.
>>715135179 (OP)it gaves you the answer so just put a rectangle on a paper, add a dot when you are supposed to represent one on top.
It is L since the other two fit nicely into it
>>715135373As someone that got it first try, the reason I got it first try was because I watched that 15 minute demo with Todd Howard at Quakecon.
I'd wager most people "figured it out" because of that. Not the combo itself, but the method to discover it. Examining items was a new thing in Skyrim.
>>715136698this would take me 30 minutes to an hour to get. I'm a really bad shape rotator, how to develop this skill?
>>715136087>>715135269Average kojimbo cuck intellect
>>715137546True, the vax made me come fuck your mom as well.
>>715138637Work with things in a 3d space. Word working/tinkering/literally anything handy
>>715137645Am I supposed to suck your dick because of how impressed I am in your assessment of puzzle? It doesn't look hard for you so very good yay?
If you're saying you can't conceive of a simpler puzzle, that's an unusual self-report.
If you can't make apple 1 into apple 4, you actually can't make apple 1.
Why was Gen Hoshino dubbed but Pekora was not?
>>715139756Because Pekora's identity is an ultra high security level clearance need to know basis
This puzzle is very easy. None of your options extend into the z-axis, so you know the correct combination of the pieces already given to you must form a 3x2 rectangle in one of the z-axis layers. In order to do that, one of the two shapes must be flipped upside down since the layer with 3 cubes is on the bottom on the left shape and on the top on the right shape. When one of the shapes is flipped upside down, the orientation of the cube on the other layer reverse, so when the two pieces are combined, the two extra cubes on each shape will be adjacent (they are opposites before the flip). From there, its clear the only way to fill the empty space is with the J piece, since none of the other options allow you to make a 3x2 rectangle by combining two adjacent cubes.

>>715135179 (OP)To me, the first two fit together and form a cube. For the result, the only missing part should be the option.

>>715145289I wound up stacking boxes, but this one helped. However, I don't see how in an eternity it would have been possible to visualize it without having physically seen it once.
>>715145129This one looks like the blocks were just arbitrarily broken and glued back to fit the answer.
>>715143692This is the only digital implementation of the soma cube I could find https://www.geogebra.org/m/VDVbwCpj but where you can place the pieces is predetermined and only let you form the original cube.
>>715146557>This one looks like the blocks were just arbitrarily broken and glued back to fit the answer.Well they weren't.
If you spent a few seconds to even look at it you would see they aren't.
Seems like you're actively trying not to understand how people solve this, like you're resigned yourself to being a dumbass.
>>715135179 (OP)This puzzle made me realize I have room temp IQ. I was so sure that the Z piece was the right answer.
