In DOJ WL you can make mistakes during the first loop(and later on in the second too), in SDOJ you have to play the whole thing no miss/no bomb with an ever-increasing rank, do a high enough chain(and this is the easy part btw) and take on a boss that can still kill you through all the resource dumping.
