How do I make my PC games not so fuzzy? I've noticed between console and PC is that console, even when in lower resolution, had a sharper or smoother image, but on PC, even at 2560x1440p on a mid-sized screen with screen sharpening, the edges on the ingame assets are fuzzy and spiky.
What am I missing here?

Depends on the engine and the game. Games Ive played on both are typically sharper on PC. 27inch 1440p monitor here.

I have AA but it's not enough. I may need the reverse of Image Sharpening.

You're just sitting way further from a TV than a PC monitor in most cases.
If you're playing some modern UE5 slop, disable TAA, upscalers, motion blur, DIF, and Lumen (RT).

If you on the other hand are referrong to JAGGIES, increase resolution and / or enable proper AA.
Dont use excessive sharpening. It will exaggerate all artifacts.

>If you're playing some modern UE5 slop, disable TAA
then you see how shit UE5s low quality rendering really is.

for example the the bottom pic shows you unreal engine hair is not hair at all, it's not properly rendered hair strips with real transparency.
it's an abysmal mess of glitchy pixel artifacts and that's literally what the effect is. it relies shitty blurring to try and hide it.

as a result the game will never look good no matter what you do. it's fundamental rendering is put together like shit.
