Every single team based game is like this
First months is fun because there's new player, all the "fun chaos" is just people not playing well and you being over the average skill curve.
Time goes on and people start to learn, get better, meta settles, ultracasual leaves, and you end up actually playing with people your level, and you don't like that because you like to win.
Only the sweaty remains.
This isn't a new thing, it looks like a very predictable and reasonable natural progression.
