I like Nenio. There's something very endearing about how comically stupid Nenio's whole "oh my science" schtick is. It's so exaggerated and reddit it loops into actually being funny and charming.

I personally think that there is no "best" since the biggest appeal of them is how they bounce with each-other. Yeah some might have awful vanilla builds but like you are not here to keep them in your party because of that, you are here to keep them to see how they act and react to various situations.

Try rogue trader. Combat gets too easy too quick, but you don't have to worry as much about builds I guess, and the writing is way better.
