Composer, writer and art director had no prior game experience just the director. Even then he was an intern shuffled to various ubisoft projects.

Bloodstained is total dogshit though. Not that Iga's castlevanias are great games, but they sure as hell clear bloodstained.

Because video game teams are obviously much larger than bands so it is easier to disguise a random code monkey with no actual creative ability or directing skills in the title FROM THE NIGGERS WHO BROUGHT YOU BIOSLOP or what have you.

Guild Wars 1 with devs that broke off from Blizzard North. Death Stranding when Kojima broke off from Konami. The earliest releases of Platinum Games, when they broke off from Capcom. And, ironically enough, Tango Gameworks when Shinji Mikami broke off from Platinum Games. There's assuredly more, I don't think it's that rare of an occurrence, assuming they get funding and a decent team.

It's a giant red flag when they feel the need to sell the game like that after panhandling on Kickstarter or Patreon. Makes you think there's a reason they're unemployed

Well, this one didn't work outside of his cult.
