You taking a small amount of time to learn to draw some basic lineart and have a consistent style between all of your character portraits will be far better than this AI slop.

It doesn't help that you're making some generic Harvest Moon-like when a game like Stardew Valley exists. Throwing AI art at it is just going to make it look like a shitty cash grab rather than an actual passion project.

You could try and reach out to artists more skilled than you and hire them to do some portraits and key art to work with as you'll probably need to do that for music too, but you probably don't want to do that.

There is no such thing as being naturally talented. Artists that are better than you are so because they have spend more time actually doing art, doing studies, learning how to break down what they see into simple forms.

Almost every single kid loved drawing. And almost every kid was told by someone else that their art was crap and made them stop drawing. Those that didn't get filtered that way just kept drawing and practicing. That's why they're better.

Art is a skill. Anyone can learn it. You just have to pick up the pencil. You have to realize that it takes time and you're early work is going to look bad. If you can stick with it, and have fun making it, you can be successful. Too many people dwell on the end of the art journey and give up because they want the payoff now.
