Why couldn't dark souls have dificulty settings and have cheat codes to have an invincible mode?

It does, OP, and it's called mods. Any game that doesn't have difficulty settings can be made easier with mods. Obviously, you need a PC.

I disagree. I played a game all my life that had one difficulty: Hard, and if a game is hard, people just don't play it. It's not like they struggle and learn it. If they did, then I could have talked to /v/ about Dota 2, but nobody ever played it.
