I don't know if it's for the best that Agni's Philosophy never materialized into a game.

On the one hand, Squeenix would no doubt have somehow fucked it up.
On the other hand, it will forever remain a wasted opportunity for SE to actually make something interesting.

I already didn't like the direction to be honest. Bunch of sandniggers and Middle Eastern inspired setting. Some white old dude chanting shit and the chick seemed so out of place too. Then enemies with guns that looked like some Jihadi group shooting at them... Nah. I'm not feeling it. Also it was never going to be a game anyway, it was just random shit for a tech demo to showcase the Engine.

Luminous was already dead before Forspoken was even released. Nobody in the company wanted to use it because it was too complicated. In fact, the reason Forspoken was so broken at release is because half of the people working on Luminous were already placed on other teams.

Looking at those old tech demos, didnt some of it make it into like FF15 and FF16 though?
