>>715195817in this setting it does, however in this setting there's some concept called "erosion" or something, where it doesn't matter how immortal you physically are, eventually your mind will start eroding and you'll go insane or lose a sense of yourself so there's no real immortality per se in this setting, and the curse of immortality just means that you live somewhat longer than others but eventually erosion will reduce your mind into nothing and your immortal body will just gradually disintegrate into immortal dust, at which point it's pretty meaningless
