Luv me driving sim. Simple as.
>>715211860 (OP)And that means 10 million faggots who demand racing cars instead of boring and goofy cars that were essence of gran turismo series
>>715211860 (OP)anyway i can get 6 working on pc?
i tried rspxc or whatever its called and it works shit
>>715212076No. I doubt there is more than 10 milions of this faggots.
>>715212096nope
Give up and buy ps3 or wait another 5 years
Watch some reviews of the game. It's really not that great, there was one youtube who criticized how "slow" the game feels. A racing game where you don't have sense of speed (bad camera?) it no racing game. This is the main reason, why GT3 > GT4, and it would seem they made same error here in GT7. If you want a racing game for PC, you play TDU1
>>715212561>watch reviews No, I'll play it myself and form an opinion.
>>715212894You can see it from video itself, watch any gameplay video and you'll notice this game has no sense of speed. A racing game that doesn't have sense of speed, is not a true racing game.
>>715213065I prefer to actually play games :)
>>715213132You're coming off as a shill now.
>>715211860 (OP)Only snoy exclusive worth shit
Put it on pc already
>>715211860 (OP)it's alright. better than dealing with sim game setups on pc at least
>>715214397What setup? All you need is some wooden chair that doesn't move/has no rollers under/is sturdy, some kind of wheelstand for your wheel+pedals, 70-80 series GPU and a VR headset. Sim racing with a wheel is totally different thing than playing with game controller
>>715211860 (OP)I wish I could play it on PC. Assetto just doesn't scratch the GT itch.
>>715212096Just pick up a $300 racing rig off FB marketplace, a cheap PS4, and play GT Sport.
>>715214913The whole point of GT5 was to drift online with a modded NSX. Now that the servers are gone, there's no more reason to play it
>>715213239Nobody would buy it on pc.
>>715215101I hated how stiff steering felt in GT5 personally. I know 3 is slammed for everything kind of feeling boaty, but I much preferred the way the steering simulated wheel drift when you let off the controls. As opposed to 5 where it just stiffly stays going straight when you ease off.
>>715215274I would buy it. In fact it would be like the first game in 5 years i would be willing to pay full price for
Last men standing.
Many imitators, never duplicated.
>>715215274I would. I'd buy the old ones as well if they ported/remastered them. Better mod support, proper online etc. No game has filled the GT void on PC (Forza sucks)
>>715215905Don't care about your Unreal Engine spam
>>715215868I think TDU1 is one of the better games you can play on PC. And maybe some old NFS games like NFS hot pursuit or something
Mario Kart World has slightly better physics than GT7 actually
>>715216716gotta catch me first with your understeering tire model
>>715215307>I know 3 is slammed for everything kind of feeling boaty3 feels the way it does because it's trying to simulate the natural motion of a steering wheel on an analog stick. It does a really good job and when you drive properly, the car glides through corners and feels amazing. GT3 only feels slightly off because the FOV is pretty narrow. Use a FOV patch and it feels a lot more responsive. Modern racing games GT4 included don't put much effort into how it plays on analog stick and always feel too stiff.
What kills GT7 for me is that there are no decent single player races. The speed of the AI depends on your speed, so if you decide to just drive in first gear like a snail, the AI starts to drive so slowly to wait for you. But as soon as you start to speed up and pass the other cars, the AI speeds up too. It's ridiculous, the races, especially the longer ones, all feel extremely artificial and always end the same way, no matter how well or poorly you drive.
The worst part is that there is an option called "boost" that is supposed to change this, but even when you turn that option off, the AI continues to do exactly the same thing, which makes the game completely useless for single-player races. No wonder practically ALL the events in the game are of the type: "start at the back of the grid, you have a few laps to pass everyone". There are no real races in campaign mode.
>fully justifies VR's existence
I apologize Kaz
post you're favorite GT song

>>715217403Unironically though. The one use case I've found for VR where it isn't just justified, but is actually perfect.
>>715217438For me it's the menu music

>>715211860 (OP)How come they never talk about this? It's clearly their best seller and yet, no fucking word about it but dozen of news about how many god of war or spiderman sold within the first week/month/year.
Are they afraid that shareholders will see the third person walking sim press X to awesome scam ? that it doesn't sell much compared to real games.
Anyway for me it's GT4
>want to drive online
>every retard is on racing soft tires
>>715216871 bro I'm on Comfort Hards with 700PP and your AI crew still brake-checking on a straight, you really think understeer is my biggest problem? enjoy last place while I'm apexing corners like it's GT4 again
>>715218167Kaz is a VP so Polyphony Digital doesn't need to constantly justify its existence. Its gotten to the point where its a predictable pillar in the market (and a known entity in the automotive sector too).
>>715215918My point was that there are people who will see this and say "fuck polyphony why they add cars no one want instead of new racing cars"
I love the fact that we still get those goofy cars

>>715215830How many F1 drivers has Gran Turismo gotten into bed with?
>>715218167The best never brag about how good they are.
