The result is a better tactics and strategy game than most out there because it feels more like you are controlling a battlefield through putting the right troops in the right spots while capturing key areas. It's more a mix of an RTS with a tactics engine underneath. It's an odd duck in a very good way.
The story is EXTREMELY generic, however, the art, writing, and characters for that story are done very well and this proves you don't have to be unique with your story to deliver a really good story.
Visually it Vanillaware, so it's damn good and highly stylized. Be warned, it might make you a furry.
