2d platformers are the best genre. RPGs are good though, hovering around second or third place along with strategy.

RPGs are the bottom of the barrel in video games your stats dictate everything, turning what should be active media into a passive experience

They still spark the most joy for me and still have games that are normalfag repellant. So yeah best genre. Just recently put in 110 hrs for Metaphor and just got done with a session of playing SMT VV. I want to fuck Mermaid.

Nice. I loved Metaphor. I'm playing through the Trails series right now. I'm just getting into it. I know the remake of the first game is coming out, but I bought the original version on PC because I figured I'd want to keep going, and it would be weird to have to play the original version of the second game after the remake of the first one. I'm about halfway through Trails in the Sky SC now and I'm having a great time.
