>>715234461 >Because my industry is trying to move beyond the sexist mentality of its former mindset
How lmao? the old Lara is literally anti-sexist. She's like what feminists want to be >Strong and independent girlboss who need no man to steal artifacts from dead ancient spics >Wears whatever the fuck she wants, not caring her outfit is a bit impractical for her escapades >Isn't an absolute pussy stereotype of what a virgin thinks a woman is, and is pretty badass
This spicnigga has no idea what he's talking about

the soccer moms won in the end, their victory just came in the form of dishonest sjws infiltrating the industry and corrupting it from the inside out, as opposed to the religious right wingers that only attacked it externally from the sidelines
imagine if the anti violence conservatives won and got anti-violence schizos into every video game company like soviet union commisars, this is basically the world we're in but with sjw loonys

Because men liked her, and that's the opposite of what feminists wanted, they wanted a character which caused a constant discomfort on that fanbase.
Yet, they didn't foresaw the character basically being transformed into a parody of herself.

The religious tryhards never gave up though?
They literally control the credit card companies for one. If you ever wonder why porn is so fickle and why anime is getting neutered, it's because Japan uses Western credit card companies for payments, and they have to answer to the Christcucks

They gave up attacking video games seriously around 2009 after Jack Thompsons attacks on gta 4 failed

AOD's graphics and art style are really great besides a lot of the NPC models. In fact I would prefer if new Tomb Raider games were made with that aesthetic rather than aiming for realism.

The first game is the best platformer of all time
2 is overrated and mostly sucks
3 and 4 are 9/10 games
Chronicles is decent
AoD is totally captivating
Yes they are fantastic games overall and worth playing through at least once in your life

2 opens with a 10/10 level and then devolves into pure dogshit thereafter until you reach Tibet. Overall only like 4 good levels in the whole game. Before I played these games myself I always saw people btiching about TR3 being unfairly difficult or having too much trial and error but I believe that criticism applies much better to TR2 than any other TR game. TR2 is full of total bullshit design.

my other option was sliding backwards and grabbing the ledge, which of course ended up being the correct solution but could have equally fucked me if below the ledge there was nothing to drop down to except a fire pit. A first time player cannot make any sort of educated guess on what is at the end of that corridor. Horrible level design, no excuse.

You would be jumping backwards, which fucks you if there happens to be a ledge which you are supposed to grab but cannot reach unless you are holding the grab button, since you cannot grab ledges while jumping backwards even if you press Roll to turn around mid-jump.
The option in the webm was safest because it would have allowed me to either drop straight down without jumping or make a jump to a far away ledge depending on what I saw in the camera angle change.
