My only issue with Intel is that the A770 is OOOLLDDDDDD
the B580 is in stock, acceptable price, low vram,B570 doesn't solve that....

b770 bros?
B770 BWOS!?

B50 and B60, unreleased, buy entire workstation for card at markup...
B770 BWOS!?
actually, if they just released the fucking b50 & b60 I wouldn't even ask for my b770 bwos.

RDNA 1-3 are memes. RDNA 4 is a meme due to no bios flashing. 9060 XT is cooked, 9070 GRE has no VRAM, 9070 is okay but metaphorically cooked due to not being available for MSRP, 9070 XT is just cooked on both fronts.

Intel could....JUST RELEASE THE FUCKING CARD AND I'LL BUY IT.
I LITERALLY WON'T BUY NVIDIA
NVIDIA ONLY HAVE 2 GENERATION OLD CARDS THAT FIT MY USE CASE AND THOSE ARE TOASTER TIER FOR POWER CONSUMPTION COMPARED TO BATTLEMAGE AND RDNA 3/4

FUCKING SELL ME A CARD INTEL
SELL ME A CARRRRDDDDDDDDD
I won't accept <16GB VRAM in the year of our lord 2024.

I'm nta but I have a 2070 super still kicking around, that could be replaced with a B580 if it had VRAM. If it were a B50 or B60.
2070 Super chokes hard in certain instances. B580 and the 9060 XT can be a solid sidegrade/upgrade depending on the title purely because they actually posess VRAM.

It's also absolute, fucking garbage for inference too btw, to the point that even sucking it up and using Vulkan is less shameful than owning an 8GB GPU.
The best thing the 2070 Super has going for it? With good silicon, it undervolts well, on windows. Windows 11 is cuck tier as is LTS, Server has been raped to death by the Indian too. So The 2070 Super's best strength is its biggest weakness.
Forget about patching out its biggest weakness because integer scaling is only good on Windows for nvidia cards, so since you have no VRAM, you're also not going to have a good time trying to scale 1080psloppa.

The 2070 Super is as it always was, a bargain bin 2018 GPU with a 2019 coat of paint, patchwork over Turing V1 sucking more dick than Jensen in a Dennys.

Terrible linux drivers, windows drivers have been trash for years (more bugs, but still more features) skimping on VRAM, shouldn't be rewarded for pushing TDP up to chase performance; while not a TDP purist, the low/middle TDP segment of the market hasn't scaled well generation to generation.
I also don't believe in rewarding a company that has both lied in the past and also decided to segment features behind software support.

On linux, Intel are bretty gud, on Windows the DX9 & DX10 stuff had to go through the same emulation layer but improved for the B series stuff.
It was fucked for the A/alchemist stuff. For pre-DX9 titles, you'd have to go for third party solutions anyway for proper acceleration support so the A series stuff was just as compatible as the nvidia card. Shaders on old games were the reason people said we'd never get a real competitor in the GPU space alongside ATi & Nvidia.

It's just because of the way shader support changed over the years, giving up and allowing the developers to do it (like they'd begged for years).
Intel will have this shit repeated for 10 years, like AMD's GCN driver issues on Windows.

can't into emulation (acts like gt 1030 or refuses to work)
can't into dx11 games (acts like rtx 1060)
can't into <dx11 games without taking ~43% performance penalty through buggy translation layers
can't into majority of games (graphical bugs, not launching, ctd)
can't into raytracing (too weak, no rr)
can't into upscaling (yes even xmx xess looks terrible)
can't into playing games day 1 because no developer cares
can into ~18 games that were greenlit by intel at 720p high settings
can into bottlenecking a 9800x3d

Lmao you probably swapped your HDMI port and now think you're getting a generational uplift. Specs mean jack if your system was bottlenecked elsewhere, and 20fps variance could just mean your shit isn't thermal throttling anymore. Post frametime graphs or stay coping.

You think wrong, legacy DX support is terrible and it dropped 32bit PhysX (which is nearly everything with PhysX).

don't forget the planned obsolescence 12vhpwr connector they force onto their newer cards too. i literally sold my 4090 as its nearing its warranty cutoff because i do not want to deal with having to fix the connector outside of warranty if it burns out
