>>715263626Fair enough. One thing I did like about PvZ is that there's a right way to beat each level; once you realize that, the game becomes mind-numbingly easy. While in Arknights, you can select your own roster, and difficulty is largely self-imposed because of powercreep, which I have mixed feelings about.
But PvZ2 felt like every level was still designed with there being a correct way to beat it in mind, but with the caveat that you have to purchase the correct thing. I didn't play PvZ2 very much because I was really frustrated by this from the get-go. I'm sure I could have brute-forced my way through much of the game, but I felt like some of the levels were actually unbeatable with my starting roster.
However, Arknights' emphasis on using units skills and only being able to have 1 of each unit does make the gameplay fairly different from PvZ.
