I always thought it was silly when vampire stories try to explain crosses work because of the right angles, rather than because Jesus is real in that setting.
By that logic, you could repel vampires with an average 4-panel comic.

Not in Masquerade. Vampire are, for all intents and purposes, corpses during the day. It takes TREMENDOUS willpower aka crazy good dice rolls to just act for a moment, and you have to keep doing it on turn-by-turn basis. There's a reason smart hunters deal with vampires during the day.

Are any of the VTM VNs worth playing?
I've played Bloodlines to death over 15 years and fucking love it, totally unique atmosphere and vibe, but I literally know of no other media that remotely scratches that dark urban gothic itch in the same way.
I have no hopes for Bloodlines 2, but i'm at least hoping they get the atmosphere right as I can still enjoy that.

I wish there were more Vampire games set in an urban environment outside of the VTM games.
I'll gladly take small shitty obscure indie projects made in RPGMaker if it let's me roam around a 90s era gritty city as a Vampire or even some mods for other games if that exists.

Surprisingly good actually. The only battle royale I've ever actually had fun with. Also the recreation of Prague was pretty good. Shame it's support got shut down. But I had a genuinely great time with it.
