probably the best modlist i've used.

All the others have too much shit that feels out of place etc whereas Lorerim focused more on stability/keeping it lore friendly with its additions. The main issue you'll have will be fully dependent on if you like Requiem. If you don't, the only other modlists worthwhile are:
>the basic ones that just install all of the mandatory mods to save you time
>making your own

Lorerim suited me for one reason. I'm finally able to play Skyrim instead of spending days modding it only to run into a conflict mid playthrough and just end up dropping it entirely. Also, Requiem is kino

The goal of modding is to get as many to work together as you can.
These modpacks are just epeen measuring sticks.
There is no artistic vision or game play tweaks behind it. It is simply more is better because it is more.

Nobody even plays these things. At the absolute max 1/10th of 1% of the entire Skyrim player base is currently using one.
That is is everyone is playing the same one.

There's nothing gayer than survival mods or shitty mods that claim to be "lore friendly" and then have you wear warm clothing as a Nord, when it's canon they literally run around half naked in the coldest areas of Skyrim and had 100% frost resistance in Morrowind because for them Skyrim is like Florida.

the thing is most people trapped in the modding loop never actually bother doing a full, genuine playthrough of skyrim and so never realize the futility of it
i got trapped in the loop until i committed to "a dragonborna fate" with a bunch of extra stuff on top, armors, body slide etc.
did most of the content basically (even though things got boring quick)
and i realized it was more engaging making a hypothetical good game, rather than actually experiencing the end product

Precision is shit, honestly. I breaks a lot of shit that isnt very noticeable like dragon riding. Then it fucks the weapon balance completely. Greatsword are king, daggers can't even hit unless you extend the hitbox which invalidates the whole point of the mod.

The only good combat mods are the ones that make every die faster including the player, so you get through it faster. Slapping a bandit leader for 5 minutes will never be fun.

Uhm, no? You have a choice of whether to engage in a quest or questline or no.
Recently i decided to roll a vanilla char on skyrim AE. I am lvl 80, barely did any quests and am just running around mining ore, transmuting iron to gold, making jewelery, making potions and stuff because i own a farm and i have no intention whatsoever to do anything beyond that. Because they cannot mod souls games. Trust me on this, if Elden Ring was moddable, they would mod it and abandon skyrim altogether. Same with Cabatoody and Barffield and Fallout 4 - if those two could be modded, all those sluts and tactikewl gunzz would disappear. Some people just use Skyrim and Fallout 4 as vectors - they dont give a shit about those games and what they can actually do with them.

None of the graphics and souls combat matters. What matters are cooking (actual food with actual normal effects and not generic "restores 1 pt of health"), crafting (lockpicks, torches, arrows, jars, silverware, jewelery, clothing, etc), alchemy (extra effects and ingredients), enchanting (no restrictions and more effects), no level-scaling, proper hand-placed loot, variety of loot that is both lore-friendly and one that appeared in previous games, quest options (so you can kill that high elf retard in college of winterhold and thus dont have to deal with that stupid "crisis", or you can kill Maven Blackbriar and her whole family and thus shit on thieves guild, or kill Ulfric or Tulius the first time you meet them and thus make Civil War end right there and then), more spells and better magic, and better perks (or even better - attributes and skill and no perks - just like in Morrowind).

If that mod list doesnt do those above - its shit, plain and simple. Also
>modlist
How much of a fucking subhuman degenerate do you need to be to want that? You go download mods you like, learn what-is-what regarding modding, mod installation and troubleshooting, and then make your own stuff and play the game. Fucking braindead zoombies.

NPCs have things to say to me. Their own problems, however shallow. It is nowhere near comparable to having fucking lunch.
I have lunch every day. You know what I don't do every day? Go to rural locations for mercenary work. Grope the tavern wenches. Decapitate a bandit lord with a zweihander.

I'm buff enough, thanks. I didn't come to metagame buffs like I logged on to prepare for raid night like an MMO stooge.
My character does not share my taste buds so I get no reward from exotic foods, just a timer that says "oh, fun has to pause now!"

again my nigga... you fail to grasp the crux of the argument...
npcs going blah blah blah for your next Epic Hack N Slash Kill Quest and taking one minute to eat for buffs preparation for your Epic Quest are both sides on the same flavor coin
they both get in the way of your exhilarating Skyrim combat

>playing skyrim for the combat
How long into the post chain did your posts shift from opinion to bait? Either way, never reply to me again. You are worse than a Skyrim NPC, you are a failed MMO reject who places importance on buffshit instead of interacting with a world and its people through ROLEPLAYING.

what is your obsession with mmos lmao
you realize skyrim has alchemy right?
do you just never interact with the games systems at all past "roleplaying" with the cardboard NPC and doing hecking epic decapitations on Bandit Lords
you can "roleplay" actually holding a conversation with these NPCs but you can't fathom eating for any reason other than "hunger bar go up"
you are such a retarded nigger

No, creating your epic build is not roleplaying. It is a puzzle piece you assembled that fits into the combat slot. If you have disinterest in interacting with the world in any way besides your own character stature you're not a fucking roleplayer. You're the karen dying her barbie doll's hair the same color as her own.

You joke, but there are actually people who unironically think every texture needs to be 8K otherwise the immersion is ruined. Then they go cry when their potato rig implodes from loading 400GBs of sweaty peasant face wrinkles. Texel density? Optimization? Never heard of her. It's all about being able to see the individual fibers on a rat's butthole while blowing it up with 12 different ENBs layered like some grotesque visual parfait.

Every bit of your posts is about how food interacts better with the combat, through buffs. How would you describe this if not buildtism? You have no care for the world Skyrim at all. It's just a dollhouse for you. So why would I want to put up with your dogshit food timers impeding my own narrative experience?

holy shit I think you actually might be autistic
so ill put it bluntly
it's comical that you can't grasp the idea of hunger being more than a timer
one could be ROLEPLAYING THEIR CHARACTER EATING MEALS and it's made to be more than a timer by having it affect GAME MECHANICS

You don't give a shit about roleplaying. You've repeatedly downplayed the NPC's part in your experience. You have a doll that you parade around and feed, it's literally like a female child's pretend tea time with her stuffed animals.

its intoxicating once you realize you can make everything hi res if you want
but it's even better knowing that you really dont notice or give a shit about 90% of the games textures because it's either in motion or because you're only ever looking at characters that closely

I don't understand your position. First you say you want to talk to NPCs, "however shallow" because they have their "their own problems" and "things to say". But when someone suggests an equally "shallow" method of roleplaying they want to play with Barbies and are MMO addicts? And they roleplay too much? Are you the aribiter of what's acceptable roleplay?

Yes, putting your figurine into a world only to do nothing with the latter is not roleplaying. I don't see how you could argue otherwise.
