It aged surprisingly well, to the point I kinda felt going back to Generations felt a lot more clunkier by comparison.
The only thing that brings it down is the fact that Vanilla Tails and Eggman's gameplay is dogshit (mods fix it pretty well and make it decently fun, although I wish it had more depth), the minigames are ass and some of the last levels are pretty shit.
What's funny is, the game I actually was nostalgic for (Heroes) turned out to have aged absolutely poorly, and it went from my favorite to probably a game that I dread to ever have to replay ever again (barring on a completed save file).
