just reminding you all about the greatest RPG of all time
>>715297613 (OP)everyone is tired of you retards overglazing and spamming and shilling this game every day for 13 years now. fuck off.
>>715298013It's underrated if anything
>>715297613 (OP)gets completely mogged by Underrail
>>715298013Let's not pretend that you aren't some kid that grew up on FO4/76 and can't handle that fact that people that have been playing these games for much longer regard them as a joke.
>>715297613 (OP)With 15+ years of mods, yes
>>715298051>>715298079copium
>>715298331absolute projection. /v/ has been sucking off FNV like no tomorrow for a decade. none of the fallout games are that good to justify that, it's purely some board culture thing, and it absolutely counts as bootlicking and shilling. obsidian to this day still uses FNV in their promotional material for their company and other games. you are literally marketing for them with these threads.
>>715300196/v/ has been autistically screeching that NV is a crossdresser game for the past 5+ years
>>715300196I'll shill NV for free since it's the peak of its genre
>>715297613 (OP)maybe if you only own an xbox 360. NV is one of the most casual RPGs that exists with skill check you can't fail and quest markers to lead you everywhere
Has anyone given any thought to the idea that the PC shouldn't be able to change the world?
Instead of being a god among men, maybe the better story is the one that makes it clear that your actions are small scale, and only have a limited effect.
Humanity, in the real world, can never be built on the back of four people. One person can make a few changes before they go, that's how the world works.
If you aren't able to direct a huge structure like the NCR or the Legion, you will not be able to have a huge effect.
I like Fallout 3 much more than NV. Fallout 3 knows that groups are not made or destroyed by one person. In F3, outside of most of the DLC, you are not a demigod that can change the world at the drop of a hat.
At best, you can help a lot of people with small scale actions and the big action of spreading clean water with the manipulation of a situation already in motion.
At worst, you can hurt a lot of people with small scale actions and the big action of destroying a major settlement/purge the impure with the manipulation of a situation already in motion.
In NV, you are literally in control of the scales at all times. There is not a point after you enter Vegas in which you are able to not be a major figure.
I know it's fucking heretical to say, but Fallout 3 is my favorite Fallout. You aren't going out alone to slay the Big Bad. You ride the tides that benefit you.
The story may necessitate a lack of choices, but it comes off much better when the devs can focus on one story line. You were never going to a get a post Hoover dam for four to six different endings.
