Nostalgia ruins everything

The CPU rubberbanding is genuinely a horrible change though. Boot up a 150cc race and act like a tryhard (constantly boosting, jumping, and grinding), then do the same race again but don't even drift. You'll notice a SIGNIFICANT decrease in difficulty when you act like the retarded little cousin who wants to play your games.

I like World but I don't kid myself, as it is right now is slop that pales in comparison to a lot of previous entries, it has a great skill celling but it is as shallow as a pond.

Exactly like that, 8 at launch was slop but by sheer amount of tracks became bearable, the core is still crap but you have like 60+ tracks to chose, here every effort went to the (literal) empty Open world, challenges whose rewards are useless, the roster looks like a literal meme list, and people defend it because "MUH PARTY GAEM", I absolutely love Knockout tour best mode of the game but beyond that the game is terrible, the tracks feel shorter because they were cut on complexity over the "in between" tracks which are an objective detriment.

This game needs DLC asap and I don't see Nintendo putting DLC of this thing in a long time, the most I see is a DLC costumes for DK and Pauline after Bananza's release.

Why is it a problem that there is an easy and normal mode built into the game rather than having buttons to pick them? Do you just want to explicitly choose hard mode to make sure you are improving?

That just seems to be the standard for Mario Kart, although before they just wouldn't show any mercy if you played poorly. However, I don't think I ever failed to get first in a GP and they were really easy to three star when going back after playing online and getting better at the game. Even if the cpuare disregarding the physics of the game, you still just need to play well enough that they can't keep up with you. The end result is still the same that playing well means you will beat the cpu players.

I hate how this game is soooo luck based and how in half of the tracks, the last items set makes everything
