I like both. BFBB is the one I like more, but I wouldn't call Movie bad.

To me the movie game was better, i prefer simple games and bfbb just ask for too much backtracking and platforming.

I prefer movie but I played it first. I also haven't played it all the way through in a while, aside from cleaning up some chests and tokens on a whim one day, while I've played BfBB more recently.
Movie is definitely has more visually variety with different lighting effects per stage and always changing the enemy skins rather than just fighting robots all the time.
I really like the slide mechanics in both games and I'm glad movie utilized them more. The driving segments can take a hike, thoughever.
I will say that battle is a better game to 100% by a mile. Movie's ring challenges a re a fucking nightmare.

I consider it like the weirder younger brother to BfBB.
I think people who enjoyed BfBB (and likewise classic Spongebob in general) should absolutely play it at least once.

Like most Anons here I like BFBB better, even thought I played this one first. Its still pretty good and maybe woud be as good, but stopping progress to make you go back and get goofy goober tokens really bogs it down. To this day I dont think I've beaten it for that exact reason.
