Do I need to play Xenoblade Chronicles X before playing Xenoblade Chronicles 2?
>>715321295 (OP)No
X is mostly unrelated to the main franchise
>>715321295 (OP)Yes
X is mostly related to the main franchise
i call it xenocross because its not a real xenoblade game
>>715321295 (OP)No, but you need to suck cock beforehand.
You should play X last, because every other game is a downgrade mechanically and you'll be really annoyed by how much shittier every other xenoblade feels and question why they abandoned all the massive gameplay improvements they made in X
is it worth getting strong enough to kill everything on the planet?
I finished the story and still getting destroyed by random creatures.
>flew inside a big flower
>surprised one-shot by a lv90 ant or some shit.
>>715321869I don't really agree with this. X is a massive improvement of 1, but I feel like 2 and 3 are so different that it's really hard to even compare them.
>>715322158if its still fun for you go for it
>>715322158>is it worth getting strong enough to kill everything on the planet?if you enjoy the gameplay and equipment management and stuff, sure
if not, no reason to bother
Ideally you would play
>Xenoblade
>XenobladeX
>Xenoblade2
>Torna
>Xenoblade Definitive Edition
>Future Connected
>Xenoblade3
>Future Redeemed
>XenobladeX Definitive Edition
To really feel how the series evolved (3D is an outsourced novelty). XDE is a remake of 1, but it has design decisions that feel like something that came out after Torna, much like how XXDE has some stuff that makes it feel like it came out after Future Redeemed.
Recommendation
>2 + Torna > XDE + FC > 3 + FR > XXDE
2 is the lynchpin of the series at this point, it established the multiversal aspects, while 1 was kind of standalone at the time.
am i racist or does the night sylvalum theme have a slight chinese vibe to it
