10000% this guys is black
Niggers have absolutely no sense of rule of law or rules in general, they simply haven't the capacity to comprehend them.
>just two minutes of trespassing is fine
>i'll just steal two items its fine
>two murders is fine
They assume every law can be bent or outright broken if they are in circumstances where it would be convenient for them, and when arrested they genuinely believe they have done no wrong and are confused as to why they are in trouble

Costco has a great PR agency and advertisement because the store sucks. It is worse than Sam's Club and worse than many regional chains. I have only seen diabetus type 9-11 go in there to buy the grossest bulk meat and bread for burgers and hotdogs that you have ever seen.

Might just depend on location.
Costco that opened up next to my house just let anyone walk in starting out, but in the last year or two they started requiring you scan your badge at a kiosk before being allowed to step inside with 2-3 employees watching the foot traffic of both doors.

old costco employee here.
We don't fucking card people at the door. We're encourage to not do that. This guy is one of those people who wanted vax passes in order to buy a loaf of bread.
You can walk in and buy a membership and use it the same day. It's not some sort of secret club. It's to limit loiters and window shoppers, and the usual suspects of the black and brown variety.

>public store
costco started as a warehouse distributor for other businesses and they still operate that way. Membership is where the primary bulk of the store's profit comes from, the products are sold at a very low margin
when they opened membership to the public they saw a huge uptick in profits as people were willing to spend a little on a yearly membership to save a lot on their monthly groceries

they actually only started carding you for the food court because the cost of hot dogs finally exceeded what they were charging for them ($1.50)
since the CEO refused to raise prices on hot dogs (his exact words were "over my dead body") forcing membership for the food court is a reasonable option

Not as of recent. The new nig tactic is to "not feel comfortable" when any form of law/rule enforcement show and flee. If they get away they won, if they're caught, "why yall tripped!? I was scare for ma life! My brother was kill by de police so yall make me nervous! I wassn fleeing, yall trippen! I just fear for ma life." As soon as the cuffs come on "ahhhh! Help I can breef!"

I worked in a red state costco in a mostly white area back in 2010. The only time we carded was holiday season. The reason we were told not to card otherwise is that it makes people feel uncomfortable. 99% people who come have a membership or intend to buy one anyways.

Not going to lie, I've been stocking up on canned and other non perishable food in bulk because we all know the next republican induced economic crash is coming (Massive income inequality and tariffs caused the first great depression).
The one sad thing is while you can buy their food court hot dogs in bulk, they don't last as long as you think if you freeze them. Not to mention they don't always carry the buns for them. That always baffled me.

Hot dogs are a loss leader so Costco probably will recoup the money spent on scanners by not selling a loss leader to expired memberships
