Basically the developers are delaying the game because they're straight up admitting they worked on something else instead of Subnautica 2.

The new parent company (the ones who made PUBG) promised a quarter billion bonus to be split between all employees if the game won awards in 2025, and now they're delaying the game to 2026 to prevent that from happening, in addition to replacing their CEO and firing two of the founding members.

Nothing really, and you don't care. Most Anons just care about the drama and muh shitting on current woke thing. If you actually played Sub1 in EA to 1.0 and same for BZ you expectations should of been beyond the abyssal plane.
Sub 1 was lightning in a bottle, we're never getting that again from them. Bellow Zero sucked and even if you fired the guys who fired the sound guy it still would of sucked, because sound wasn't the end all be all of Sub 1.
