Whats happening with OSRS is the same thing that happened with FFXIV a few years ago.

By improving afkability over time
By not focusing on large group content
By having a good mobile version

Honestly I don't enjoy runescape anymore but I still watch the youtube content. I can't deny it does a lot of things right, but I hate the forever grind shit and wish it would focus almost totally on quests and skilling.
