3 relied way too much on memberberries all through the main campaign, sidequests, and especially the DLC campaign. I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy it a bit, but it made the overall experience hard to take seriously and it broke immersion more than it built.

XC3 absolutely cannot and is predicated on your existing emotional attachment to 1 and 2
XCX did, and then they flushed it down the toilet in the remaster to force everything to connect back to the mainline as quick as possible

Saga absolutely cannot in any capacity

Sure they've also done other, non Xeno games, but I'm moreso trying to make a point about how much these epic, extended universe multi-story RPG series tend to shit the fucking bed at some point, and then that shitstink is forever tied to everything else.

about story, there are no story, there are like 12 chapters, and like, 11 of them you just doing fetch quests as main quest, and fetch quests as optional content. all you do is gathering some aliens into your ship, and they are not very interesting.

some aliens like, there maybe 3 or 5 of them, i dunno. "we wasted chapter and now we have 3 horned aliens on our ship". "we wasted chapter and now we have 5 fat aliens on the ship". there are no story, no plot. im sure every another game about "we crushed on some alien planet" was like 10 times interesting

Which one is for 11 year olds again? At least 2 doesn't pretend it isn't childish garbage, 1 is literally a children's story that wastes your time pretending to be otherwise. 3 is the only one with meaningful rumination and clearly stated themes that carry weight.

i mean xcx have slightly better openworld than other games. like, xc2's open world is not even working, all maps are open from beginning, and there are no reason to even try explore something.

in xenoblade 3 openworld slightly more interesting but still not enough, game is pretty slow, characters too.

but in xcx you are fast, you can fly, you can ride. your character can jump pretty high, and there are no fall damage. yea, map is sure good in xcx, and there are some things to activate on the map so you have at least some motivation to run around, are robots are okay too.

one of things in xc3 is this "movie attacks", you kinda need to use them , but game stops, and you just sit there, and watch movie about all your characters doing all theyr attacks.

xc3 is slow by itself and then you need to use movie attack where everything is more slow. by the way there are lots of classes in game, and most of them shit. by the way, there are 6 robots in the game, but only main hero's robot doing like, 1000% more damage than other robots so no reason to use them

maybe xc3 would be okay game, if everything, that tied to combat, wouldn't be so shitty.
