Making your characters realistically ugly is not going to sell your game. Players want to see chiseled men with strong features and beautiful women with beautiful figures not frumpy, wrinkled or brown monstrosities.

They might be starting to get that now. I hope they don't though, seeing all these woke studios go under is endless fun

a couple of these are just bad graphics and/or bad writing, but most of them are a deliberate slap in the face to the audience. mansa musa was a fuck you to everyone who bought the first game because of vavra's stances.taash or whatever was a fuck you to the writer's dad and anyone they suspect would agree with him mary jaw was a fuck you to the suits that greenlit using a model for face cap again, despite it being the current year

Wuk Lamat looks fine for a furry race character. The problem is that she's a Mary Sue and has a tranny English va that is now permanently associated with her character even if you don't care about Eng voice acting.

That's pretty much it. She's disliked even among Japanese and Chinese players. Both the game's director and the current writer wanted her to be the hero of the next major story arc while you sit back as her mentor figure. The writing was so bad that the community is rejecting not just her, but nearly everything about the setting, characters, and story of her expansion. Even the furry race she represents was dragged down by association.
