I haven't consumed modern entertaintment since first season SAO.

So I decided to try a bunch of itch.io games.

But why the fuck every character now speaks like a passive agressive bitch trying to be clever than everyone else?

It's like yeah bitch, you're so dumb, here's so clever joke about you being an old virgin loser, don't cha think a brave woman can do that, hum, right, fella?

I strongly dislike the meta humor trend. if the characters don't even take their own plot seriously then why should I care about the plot?
