Almost all Fromslop, particularly Elden Ring. Anyone who tells you they were doing quests in ER without the wiki is straight up lying to you

Ok I'll bite. Why is Wiki"Slop" a bad thing? An argument could be made that in-game references are time consuming and take up dev time. Incidentally the two games mentioned in the thread were started as single dev projects as I understand. I hesitate to call it Wiki"Soul" but Wiki"Necessary"?

Meh, there was a reason people called it "2D Minecraft" when it first came out, and people were a lot more critical about games sharing even remotely similar design elements as unlike now dozens of copycat games and slop weren't released every day. But it's been 15 years now and both games have evolved their separate ways anyway.
