even in its badly-balanced, less-than-half-finished, fucked-up current state, hell even in its millions-of-times-worse state 6 months ago, it utterly trounces d4 and really any other attempt at an ARPG from any company for the last 10 years.
the only arpg in that time frame (actually more like 12 years ago lol) that i can comfortably say is definitely better is its own prequel, which is only better because it's been in constant heavy development for, well, 12+ years. give poe2 just 1.2 years and it'll be so blindingly bright you won't even be capable of typing up a fake whine post about it

They put in a bunch of mobs that can swarm and onehit you. And at the same time, you can only attack super slow. It's like your character is larping he's in a souls game while the bosses/monsters are still in an ARPG game.

The game is being treated like PoE1 with leagues. It is not being treated like an early access game. It was only treated that way for the first 3-4 weeks when they killed multiple builds and everyone had a shitfit until they got bullied into stopping.

Out of the ARPGS I have played it is the best so far. Feels like it has more going on in its unfinished state than most of the fully released ones.

Why are they doing this?
There is no legitimate reason to hate it other than it being unfinished, any reasonable point you want to make ends up at the same junction of it being unfinished. GGG have not handled it's release and updates well but the game itself does not merit the hate it receives.
People who spam low effort shitposting dislike PoE2 because of one of these simple reasons:
