I mean the more you get into the story, the more it makes sense.
1. Naoe is like 16-17 when Nobunaga, Yasuke and his goons raid her village. There's like a 10 year gap between the two, and even if "seasons pass by" the statut quo of time still makes Naoe an underage teen and Yasuke a grown ass man.
2. Seperate motives and background, that converge in a same quest. Naoe has her own problems, so does the Yasuke and the way the story is told, both are pretty much minding her own business the whole game except when there's a big fish to catch, but otherwise they don't interact/follow each other that much while you're are controlling a character
3. Naoe's only romance that make sense in the game is the one with the wounded guy seeking for revenge in which she has a lot of things in common, there's also the one with her rival Kunoichi, but we're entering a very taboo/dangerous territory. As for Yasuke, only the one with the young girl who wants to learn how to use a bow and protect he village and eventually takes Yasuke for senpai makes sense, the rest is absolutely retarded, yes even the one with Oichi who somehow since Yasuke came to Japan she fell in love with him, and don't get me started on the meme gay ubislop shit with the Ronin or the other Samurai stuff kek. But yeah, thankfully all those romance slop are not Canon and Naoe Yasuke are the Canon mode pretty much a romantic, but kinda close together without getting anywhere much because Naoe is a fucking teen in the first place.
