Because sometimes you can see the quality of the game but it's all wrong for you. Games like Elden Ring illicit the same response out of me. I think it's an overall rather dull experience because learning patterns in quick succession bores me.
But I can still see the game itself is high quality, so much so I'm not surprised a lot of people like it. It's just not for me. I'm not surprised DS2 gets the same thing out of people.

Sounds like every gamepass game review I've heard. Mostly complain about the game but still suggest you still check it out because its on gamepass. These reviewers have sponsors from the same company so they have to walk a tight rope of being the "honest" reviewer they portray themselves and not burn bridges of possible income sources. Essentially youtubers are just lesser IGNs without all the hate the comes with it.
