Is this a good mario party replacement or are the mini games too retarded?

There's no 1v3 minigames, the basic characters are shitty furries, but you can mod in plenty more playable characters and maps so it isn't entirely a waste. Plus it gets the best minigames from various other games like Kirby and Mario Party Advanced. At the very least you can actually play it at a party and have some fun.

TL;DR: Decent but great with mods

As cool as that would be, it would make custom events lame as shit unless Nintendo allowed for deep event customization. Like a MP where you can make most of your boards wouldn't be the worst if NDCube absolutely slammed it full of minigames and deep customization. Maybe even being able to set variables for when certain items show up in shops and item spaces.

It's nondistinct mario party so it has to have someone's blatant autism in it somewhere. That's why I generally prefer modifying it to remove the bullshit and make it into a better experience.

I'd rather play Dokapon. Too bad its online is SHIT. My ideal world would be a Mario party with a minigame only every other turn and larger boards with much more engaging interactions with other players.
